On 6th January 2023, the Council of Women Brunei Darussalam (CWBD) organized its 20th ACWO Biennial Assembly and Confederation Council Meeting in Bandar Seri Begawan as well as online platform. The assembly started with Welcoming Remarks by the President of ACWO (2021 until 2023), Datin Siti Hajar Bt Pehin Dato Hj Md Yusof. Delegates from five (5) countries attended the assembly physically which were from Brunei (host country), Malaysia (4 delegates), Indonesia (3 delegates), Singapore (a delegate) and Philippine (3 delegates). Meanwhile, there were 16 delegates online from Indonesia, Lao PDR, Singapore, Vietnam and Philippines.
The highlight of the assembly was the endorsement of the new 10 Board of Directors as follows;
